What Google looks for
  • Google has no rich result for Service; it's schema.org vocabulary that helps search and AI engines understand what you sell.
  • For a local business, also add LocalBusiness markup (address, hours) on your contact or home page.
  • Keep the description and price identical to what the page says.
Next: can AI search read the page you put this on?

Schema helps, but GPTBot, ClaudeBot and Perplexity also need your robots.txt to let them in and real text in the raw HTML. Check it free:

Which fields? The ones Google's structured-data docs list as required or recommended for that type (Service, which Google doesn't document, uses core schema.org properties). Valid markup makes a page eligible for rich results; it doesn't guarantee them. Google no longer shows FAQ rich results (fully retired in 2026); Software App rich results need real ratings.
